Here you will find free, downloadable Mathematics practice questions covering both 1st and 2nd PUC, built for students preparing for their PUC board exams as well as JEE, KCET, and COMEDK. Rather than working through the whole syllabus at once, these sets let you focus on one topic at a time, spot weak areas early, and build steady confidence before your exams get close. Browse by 1st PUC or 2nd PUC below.

Why Chapter-Wise Practice Matters

Mathematics builds on itself more than most subjects, so gaps compound quickly if they’re not caught early. Application of Derivatives depends on a solid grip of Differentiation, Integrals depend on that same foundation, and Vectors and Three-Dimensional Geometry lean on concepts introduced right at the start of the syllabus. Practicing one chapter at a time, rather than jumping straight into mixed problem sets, is what surfaces exactly where those gaps are before they show up as lost marks in a much bigger chapter down the line.

This matters for entrance exams too: nearly 95% of KCET Mathematics overlaps directly with the 2nd PUC Maths syllabus and CBSE 12th Maths Syllabus, so focused chapter practice here does double duty for boards and KCET.

Once you’ve worked through the chapters relevant to you, the natural next step is revisiting your weaker topics, then testing everything together in a full-length mock test. See our see also: Chemistry study materials for the same approach applied to Chemistry.

1st PUC Mathematics: Bridge Course Mixed Practice

1st PUC Mathematics here is covered a little differently. Rather than individual chapter sets, these are combined practice papers, each bundling two to three related, high-yield 1st PUC topics. They’re not a complete run-through of the I PUC Mathematics Syllabus, but a focused bridge into the topics that carry the most weight for KCET and for your 2nd PUC preparation ahead.

2nd PUC Mathematics: Chapter-Wise Practice

Chapter-wise practice covering 11 of the 12 units in the 2nd PUC Mathematics syllabus, the core chapters that carry the heaviest weight in both boards and KCET. Note that Matrices and Determinants are combined into a single practice set here, since they’re taught and tested together in the syllabus itself. Refer to the II PUC Mathematics Syllabus for the full unit breakdown and marks distribution before you begin.

How to Use These Materials

For the most effective prep, work through these materials in sequence rather than jumping straight to mock tests. Check the 2nd PUC Mathematics syllabus page first if you want the structural overview and exam pattern before you dive in.

  1. Read the chapter synopsis first.
  2. Attempt the chapter-wise (or bridge-course) practice set.
  3. Revisit weak topics using the synopsis before moving on.
  4. Move on to a full-length. Use the KCET mock test hub, JEE mock test hub, or NEET mock test hub depending on your target exam.

This page is a step in that sequence, not a replacement for either your syllabus review or a full mock test closer to exam day.

More subjects are on the way to this study materials section for now; dive into Mathematics above, or reach out to Giraffe Learning if you’d like guided support working through these chapters.

FAQs

Q1. Are these Mathematics practice questions free to download?

Yes. All chapter-wise and bridge-course practice sets on this page are free to download, no signup required.

Q2. Do these practice sets include answer keys?

Not at this time. These are built for concept practice ahead of graded, answer-key tests elsewhere on the site.

Q3. Are these useful for JEE and KCET, or only for PUC boards?

Useful for 2nd PUC-aligned chapters, given the syllabus overlap with JEE and KCET Mathematics. For JEE-specific depth, refer to the JEE Main Mathematics Syllabus alongside these materials.

Q4. Is the full 2nd PUC Mathematics syllabus covered here?

No. Linear Programming is the one official unit not covered; everything else in the II PUC Mathematics Syllabus is present.

Q5. Is 1st PUC Mathematics included, or only 2nd PUC?

Both, but 1st PUC is covered differently: three combined practice papers bundling high-yield topics (Straight Lines & Conic Sections; Sequences, Series & Trigonometry; Permutations, Binomial Theorem & Complex Numbers), not a full chapter-by-chapter set. See the I PUC Mathematics Syllabus for the complete picture.

Q6. In what order should I use these materials?

Read the chapter synopsis, attempt the practice set, revisit weak topics, then move to a full mock test; see “How to Use These Materials” above.
